My philosophy is: I'm not trying to be a good source for file conversion other people already do this better. Settings > Audio File Options tab > Download my books as. The only other option I offer is for mp3. Then you can use it however you want including with filetype conversion software. I reverse this to give users the most pure version of the file without encryption. Audible takes m4b files and encrypts them. Several things are going on here, most of which boil down to: I suck as a designer - so sorry for the confusing interface.ĭefault for downloading a book is m4b. Libation is a huge labor of love and he's put in even more hours than me these last few months, especially on Chardonnay. On the last release, u/TOStorm called me out on not giving Mbucari enough credit on these releases and he was absolutely right. At the time there was only 1 download file so this felt reasonable. The current version of Libation is now called "Classic" for the highly sophisticated reason that "Classic" comes before "Libation" alphabetically and there's some code in the auto-updater which grabs the first file (I wish I could say I was kidding. I very much want to open this up to mac users also. Chardonnay beta is also available to Windows users who want to give it a try. Linux (beta) now uses our new cross-platform "Chardonnay" UI.

This has easily been my single biggest request. Lots of small bug fixes, minor new features, blah blah blah. I intend to keep Libation free and open source, but if you want to leave a tip, who am I to argue? Decrypt, backup, organize, and search your audible library Libation is a free, open source audible library manager for Windows and Linux (beta).
